Afinal, ambas se destacaram ao longo dos anos vendendo refrigerantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas n\u00e3o \u00e9 bem assim. As a\u00e7\u00f5es da Coca-Cola superaram as da Pepsi no \u00faltimo ano, subiram 14% enquanto as da Pepsi ca\u00edram 26%. No passado, houve per\u00edodos em que a Pepsi teve um desempenho superior ao da Coca-Cola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na realidade, a variedade dos produtos das duas empresas \u00e9 bem diferente. A Coca-Cola vende apenas bebidas, incluindo a\u00ed o refrigerante que leva seu nome, Sprite e o u\u00edsque Jack Daniel\u2019s. Enquanto isso, cerca de 60% da receita da Pepsi vem de salgadinhos, como Frito-Lay, Doritos e Cheetos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas os consumidores mais preocupados com a sa\u00fade est\u00e3o evitando cada vez mais esses alimentos, geralmente considerados n\u00e3o saud\u00e1veis. A receita org\u00e2nica da Pepsi com alimentos na Am\u00e9rica do Norte caiu 2% no primeiro trimestre em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano anterior. Mesmo na \u00e1rea de bebidas, as vendas org\u00e2nicas da Pepsi na Am\u00e9rica do Norte cresceram apenas 1%, comparadas a 3% para a Coca-Cola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A receita org\u00e2nica total da Coca-Cola aumentou 6% no primeiro trimestre, enquanto a da Pepsi subiu apenas 1%. A Coca-Cola tem colhido os frutos de sua estrat\u00e9gia focando receitas sem a\u00e7\u00facar, inova\u00e7\u00f5es de sabores e embalagens, segundo o analista da Morningstar Dan Su.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-equacao-internacional\">A equa\u00e7\u00e3o internacional<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Coca-Cola tamb\u00e9m se beneficia de sua maior depend\u00eancia de vendas internacionais em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com a Pepsi. As vendas no exterior representam cerca de 65% da receita da Coca-Cola, contra 40% da Pepsi. Isso \u00e9 significativo porque as empresas est\u00e3o registrando seus maiores crescimentos fora dos Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por exemplo, a receita org\u00e2nica da Coca-Cola disparou 13% na Am\u00e9rica Latina durante o primeiro trimestre. A receita org\u00e2nica da Pepsi na Europa, Oriente M\u00e9dio e \u00c1frica (EMEA) subiu 8% no mesmo per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Coca-Cola e a Pepsi t\u00eam muito espa\u00e7o para crescer em mercados emergentes. O consumo anual per capita dos produtos da Coca-Cola \u00e9 de US$ 144 na regi\u00e3o \u00c1sia-Pac\u00edfico e US$ 190 na Am\u00e9rica Latina. Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o, esse n\u00famero \u00e9 de US$ 1.100 na Am\u00e9rica do Norte, observa Su.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Coca-Cola n\u00e3o espera que as tarifas a prejudiquem significativamente. No m\u00eas passado, a empresa reiterou sua previs\u00e3o de crescimento org\u00e2nico de vendas entre 5% e 6% este ano. J\u00e1 a previs\u00e3o da Pepsi \u00e9 de um aumento modesto, em um percentual de um d\u00edgito baixo.
